Planned Parenthood v. State

In this case, the Montana Supreme Court will decide whether the Montana Constitution allows the state to prohibit abortions for minors whose parent or legal guardian refuses consent.


Working with the National Center for Youth Law, Upper Seven Law filed an amicus curiae brief, arguing that the consent law infringes minors' fundamental right to privacy. The brief describes burdens the law imposes on the many foster youth who live in Montana.
